‘Will back delimitation bill if all states get 50% seat increase each’: Supriya Sule's remarks spark buzz

Supriya Sule said NCP (SP) would support a delimitation bill if it provides a uniform 50% increase in Lok Sabha seats for all states.
The government is expected to re-introduce the bill that failed to get two-thirds majority in Lok Sabha in the previous session.
The previous bill proposed delimitation based on the 2011 census and a 33% quota for women in legislatures.
Senior NCP (SP) leader Jayant Patil met Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, fueling speculation of a party reunion with NCP.
Sule stated the party would discuss the bill within the INDIA bloc if it serves people's interests.
