Jude Bellingham breaks all-time England goalscoring record in World Cup bronze thriller

Jude Bellingham scored seven goals in the 2026 World Cup, breaking England's record for most goals in a single major tournament.

His seventh goal came in a 6-4 win against France in the third-place playoff at Hard Rock Stadium.

Bellingham's solo strike, dribbling past three French defenders and finishing low, sealed England's bronze medal.

He surpassed Gary Lineker's six goals in 1986 and Harry Kane's six in 2018 and 2026.

Bellingham was dropped from England's starting lineup by manager Thomas Tuchel before the tournament.
