Delhi allows restaurants, bars to stay open till 4am for FIFA World Cup final

Delhi government allowed restaurants, cafes, and bars to stay open until 4am on Monday for live screenings of FIFA World Cup 2026 final.

Chief minister Rekha Gupta announced the decision on Saturday before the title clash between Argentina and Spain in New York.

The relaxation is part of the Delhi government’s 24x7 business-friendly operating framework under its ease of doing business reforms.

The extended hours aim to let football fans gather at eating places and pubs to experience the final together.

President of Delhi wing of NRAI, Sandeep Goyale, welcomed the move but noted the short notice.
