Woman booked for using abusive language against PM Modi at CJP-led Jantar Mantar protest
A woman was booked for using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a Cockroach Janta Party-led protest at Jantar Mantar on July 23.
The case was registered after Ghaziabad resident Smriti Singh approached Noida police; the complaint states the act “hurt the dignity of a constitutional office” and was “intended to spread hatred”.
A zero FIR was filed at Expressway police station in Noida and sent to Parliament Street police station in New Delhi for investigation.
The accused woman, who owns a beauty parlour and a flat in Noida's Sector 168, is believed to reside in Faridabad's Uncha village.
