On comeback trail, Seema collects a discus bronze medal

Seema Kaliramna won a bronze medal in the discus throw at the 2026 Commonwealth Games with a best throw of 58.65m.
Her third throw of 58.65m secured the bronze, beating compatriot Nidhi Rani's best of 57.10m.
The 27-year-old from Bhiwani, Haryana, made a comeback after a knee injury and pneumonia, and is pursuing a PhD in Physical Education.
She was diagnosed with arthritis after her pregnancy, and with her husband Ravinder Kaliramna as coach, returned to competition in June 2024.
She achieved a personal best of 59.73m at the inter-state championships this season, earning her CWG selection.
