Seema Kaliramna won a bronze medal in the women's discus throw at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with a best throw of 58.65 meters.
Kaliramna is pursuing a PhD in Physical Education at Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU) in Bhiwani.
After the birth of her son Rudra, she took a break, but made a comeback 11 months later, winning gold at the 2025 National Games and the national title.
She qualified for the 2026 Commonwealth Games with a personal best throw of 59.73m at the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar.
She credited her husband and coach Ravinder Kaliramna, also known as Monu Kaliramna, for her success.
