Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan' editor Pradeep E Ragav on the film's piracy leak

Editor Pradeep E Ragav said he still hasn't gotten over the piracy leak of 'Jana Nayagan', calling it deeply damaging to the hundreds involved.

Individuals responsible for sharing the pirated film online were arrested by the Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Wing.

The film faced delays due to certification issues and the widespread leak before its theatrical release on July 23.

The leak was traced to a freelance assistant editor who copied footage from an editing facility and distributed it through piracy networks.

Pradeep E Ragav faced disciplinary action from the Southern India Film Editors Association for engaging non-members as assistants, but was permitted to continue after an apology.
