Thiruvananthapuram Zoo Tiger Babita Diagnosed With Rare Cancer, Begins Chemotherapy

Babita, a female Bengal tiger at Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, was diagnosed with rare and aggressive Adenocarcinoma.

The cancer has spread throughout her body, ruling out surgery as a treatment option.

Babita has begun chemotherapy with Carboplatin.

She was rescued from a residential area in South Wayanad in March 2024.
