Govt extends Rs 14.69 lakh crore in credit guarantees to small businesses since 2000

Government has extended Rs 14.69 lakh crore in credit guarantees to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) since 2000.

Over 1.47 crore collateral-free guarantees have been issued under the scheme since its inception, as informed in Lok Sabha.

The guarantees provide collateral-free credit backing to MSEs across the country.
