‘Couldn’t shut paper leaks': Opposition attacks Centre over Delhi metro, internet restrictions amid CJP protest

Opposition leaders attacked the Centre over the closure of 18 Delhi Metro stations and internet restrictions during the Cockroach Janta Party protest at Jantar Mantar.

Rahul Gandhi said the government shut down the metro, roads, shops, internet, and food instead of addressing students' demands on paper leaks.

Trinamool Congress MP Sagarika Ghose accused the government of disrupting public life to curb the student-led agitation.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation stated the stations would remain shut from 7:30 am until further notice, with interchange facilities at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat.

The protests were demanding accountability over alleged paper leaks.
