Uttarakhand Technical University cancels two exams after question paper leak

Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (VMSB-UTU) cancelled exams in Machine Learning for Internet of Things and Electromagnetic Field Theory after a question paper leak.

External question paper setter Ashish Kumar Gupta allegedly shared questions with students via an internal portal and WhatsApp before the exams.

The university called the leak a serious violation of confidentiality, integrity, and academic standards.

Re-examinations are scheduled for the third week of August 2026.
