A special NIA court in Lucknow sentenced Wasiullah Khan to four years’ rigorous imprisonment for passing Indian Army information to ISI handlers.
Khan was convicted under Sections 121A and 120B of the IPC and Section 13 of the UAPA; sentences run concurrently with fines of ₹5,000, ₹2,000, and ₹1,000.
The UP ATS investigation began in 2023 after intelligence about ISI luring citizens via social media; Kasganj resident Shailesh Kumar's digital evidence led to Khan's role.
The court ordered Khan's time in judicial custody since November 21, 2023, to be adjusted against his sentence.
