Actor R Madhavan revealed his most expensive purchase is a yacht in Dubai, worth roughly $500,000–$2 million (Rs 4 crore–Rs 15 crore).

Madhavan bought the yacht to achieve his ambition of earning a captain's license, which he completed during the COVID-19 lockdown.

He moved to Dubai to support his son Vedaant Madhavan's swimming career and training.

Madhavan also owns luxury cars and motorcycles in addition to the yacht.
