Johnny Depp's ticket to return to Hollywood: Actor to play Ebenezer Scrooge in new horror-fantasy

Johnny Depp will play Ebenezer Scrooge in a new horror-fantasy movie.

The movie is directed by Ti West.

Depp made a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.

The film is set for theatrical release in November.
