Deleted scenes may be added to Vijay's Jana Nayagan

H Vinoth's action drama Jana Nayagan starring Vijay was released in theatres on July 23, 2026, after a 7-month delay.

Director H Vinoth revealed at a success meet that six deleted scenes — two comedy, two action, and two emotional — will be added to the film from next week.

Jana Nayagan opened to mixed reviews but performed strongly at the box office.

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander thanked Vijay for trusting him to compose for the actor's final film.

The film was initially scheduled for release on January 9, 2026, but was postponed due to a delay in CBFC certification and was later leaked online in April.
