Punjab BJP appoints 6 new district chiefs

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appointed six new district presidents in Punjab on Sunday.

Sandeep Singh Brar (Faridkot), Sanjeev Manhas (Hoshiarpur Rural), Neten Gupta Nannu (Hoshiarpur Urban), Anoop Sharma (Khanna), Kuldeep Singh Bhangewala (Muktsar), and Sarjiwan Jindal (Sangrur-I) were named district chiefs.

The appointments were made by BJP state president Kewal Singh Dhillon with consent from national president Nitin Nabin.

Dhillon said the new office-bearers will work to strengthen the party at the grassroots and take the central government's policies to every section of society.

The move is part of the state unit's organizational expansion ahead of future political and electoral engagements.
