CISF intensifies drive against illegal coal mining, seizes 1,277 MT

CISF intensified its nationwide drive against illegal coal mining under the MMDR Act.

From July 20-26, CISF conducted 85 raids and seized 1,277 MT of illegal coal.

Five people were arrested and 40 vehicles were seized during the operations.

The drive aims to achieve 'Zero Coal Leakage' in coal mining areas.
