Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule Orders Gaothan Status For Vasai Koliwadas; 1,500 Sq Ft

Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule ordered Gaothan status for Vasai Koliwadas.

Residential structures up to 1,500 sq ft built before January 1, 2011, will be regularised.

Officials must conduct land surveys and demarcation before declaring settlements.

The government will transfer land ownership to eligible occupants for legal home ownership.

A separate meeting with Mumbai Port Trust will be held to resolve occupancy rights issues.
