Uttarakhand CM approves ₹227 crore for Haridwar Kumbh works, road upgrade and police infrastructure

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami approved ₹227 crore for infrastructure projects including ₹98.18 crore for ghats and an Astha Path on the left bank of the Ganga in Gaurishankar area for Kumbh Mela 2027 preparations.

₹115.91 crore approved for similar works on the right bank in Bairagi Camp area in Haridwar.

₹11.95 crore approved for utility shifting related to widening of the 1.65-km New Cantt Road in Dehradun from two to three lanes.

First instalment of ₹96.59 lakh sanctioned for construction of administrative building of Sultanpur police outpost in Haridwar district.

Dearness relief for pensioners of public bodies increased to 60% per month effective January 1, 2026.
