Students who have secured admissions in schools, colleges, and universities in India and abroad risk losing seats due to slow document rectification.

Patel previously met with Deputy Municipal Commissioner Zone I and ward officials, but they said changes require policy directives from higher authorities.

Patel requested Bhide to convene an urgent meeting with key civic officials including Sub-Registrar for Birth & Death Registration to streamline the process.
