Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić will officiate the Argentina vs Spain FIFA World Cup final, the first Slovenian to referee a men's World Cup final.

Vinčić will be assisted on-field by fellow Slovenians Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič, with Jordanian officials Adham Makhadmeh and Mohammad Al-Kalaf completing the on-field team.

The VAR team is led by Germany's Bastian Dankert, with Colombian Nicolás Gallo as assistant VAR and Qatari Khamis Al-Marri as VAR support.

Vinčić previously refereed the 2024 UEFA Champions League final and the 2022 UEFA Europa League final.
