Jenny Shin breaks out to 5-shot lead at Women's Scottish Open

Jenny Shin shot a 5-under-par 67 to take a five-shot lead at 11-under 133 after two rounds of the Women's Scottish Open at Dundonald Links in North Ayrshire.

Shin, a 33-year-old from South Korea, began the day tied with Lauren Coughlin but pulled ahead with the low round of the day, including six birdies and one bogey.

Germany's Esther Henseleit is second at 6-under after a bogey-free 68, while South Korea's A Lim Kim is third at 5-under.

Shin's only LPGA victory came 10 years ago at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout; she said she has never led by five shots before.

Pajaree Anannarukarn, tied for fourth at 4-under, said she enjoys playing in the UK and visited Manchester City's stadium.
