Site allotment: BDA probe finds prima facie case against AEE
A BDA inquiry found a prima facie case against AEE B Jayaramaiah over procedural irregularities in site regularisation involving two HBR Layout sites.
The probe was ordered after a complaint by Mohammed Anees and Fayaz Pasha on June 11, alleging collusion with GPA holders and unlawful regularisation recommendations.
The inquiry uncovered an unresolved discrepancy: compensation for 1 acre and 20 guntas of acquired land in Kacharakanahalli village was unpaid, though the award covered 2 acres 20 guntas.
Jayaramaiah recommended regularisation in four cases without mandatory safeguards, including lack of a speaking order, unresolved compensation, and no approval from the sanctioning authority.
BDA officials said strict action would be taken against anyone acting against the authority's interests.
