State Govt Announces Major Administrative Boost & Infrastructure Push For Thane & Palghar

Maharashtra government announced new additional collector's office and two new tehsil offices in Thane.

Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced infrastructure for Thane and Palghar, including a medical college in Ambernath and a Navodaya Vidyalaya.

The government scrapped mandatory Non-Agricultural (NA) permission and withdrew the fragmentation law.

Around 100,000 families in Thane with small plots constructed before October 15, 2023, will get legal property rights.

Plans include issuing property cards to flat owners and introducing a Land Titling Act in the winter session.
