Atomberg Technologies converted from a private to a public company, renamed to Atomberg Technologies Limited, with Registrar of Companies approval on July 2.
The conversion is a preparatory step for a potential IPO of up to Rs 2,000 crore, though shares are not yet publicly traded.
The company plans to raise Rs 1,500-2,000 crore through fresh shares and an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Atomberg, backed by Temasek, is known for energy-efficient BLDC fans and has expanded into mixer grinders, juicers, water purifiers, and smart locks.
Founded in 2012 by IIT Bombay alumni Manoj Meena and Sibabrata Das.
