Two booked for bid to kidnap, assault jeweller over loan dispute

Mumbai jeweller Kailash Raigar filed a complaint alleging loan dispute with Saurav Jain, who owed ₹35 lakh.

Saurav's elder brother Hitesh Jain and friend Kehul Jain allegedly assaulted and threatened Raigar over the loan.

Hitesh called Raigar to meet at Lucky Junction in Bandra West; Raigar claimed they assaulted and tried to kidnap him.

Bandra police registered an FIR against both under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for wrongful restraint and voluntarily causing hurt.
