No interim bail for ex-DySP; NIA court grants custody parole for father’s last rites

Special NIA court rejected interim bail for former Deputy Superintendent of Police Davinder Singh.

Court granted custody parole for five days to attend his father Deedar Singh's last rites in Srinagar.

Davinder Singh will be escorted from Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu under heavy police escort, returning by July 31.

He is accused of transporting Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists and was arrested in January 2020 with weapons recovered from his vehicle.
