New courses on emerging tech such as AI to be introduced in HPU: CM Sukhu

Himachal Pradesh University will introduce courses in AI, quantum computing, and data storage, as announced by CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

HPU will be designated as the nodal agency for green hydrogen in the coming times.

CM Sukhu announced a grant of ₹5 crore to start a B.Tech in artificial intelligence at HPU.

CM laid foundation stones for a modern digital library (₹10.25 crore) and an administrative block for the University Institute of Legal Studies (₹6.09 crore).

The state government will facilitate foreign visits for teachers and students, with adequate funds available.
