Agra station master assault: Vaishnaw says RPF staff suspended, inter-departmental enquiry underway

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw told Rajya Sabha that an inter-departmental enquiry committee was constituted regarding the alleged assault on a station master by RPF personnel at Agra Cantt Railway Station in July 2026.

Four RPF staff of Agra Cantt were placed under suspension immediately after the incident.

Vaishnaw stated that complaints against RPF personnel can be lodged via Rail Madad, CPGRAMS, E-mail, and other channels, and due process is followed.

Vaishnaw said there is no proposal to hand over railway security to the CISF.
