CWG: Boxer Parveen Hooda eyes fresh start after whereabouts ban

Boxer Parveen Hooda will compete in the 65kg category at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games after a 14-month doping suspension due to whereabouts failures.

Hooda's suspension began in May 2024, causing her to miss the 2024 Paris Olympics, and her 2023 Asian Games bronze medal was stripped.

She returned to competition after the ban, moving up from 57kg to the tougher 65kg weight class.

Hooda wrote in her diary during the suspension, setting the 2026 Commonwealth Games and Asian Games as targets for her comeback.
