Kanwar Yatra: Bijnor deploys AI cameras; 4-wheeler diversion plan introduced

Bijnor district administration installed AI-enabled CCTV cameras at Bhaguwala on the Uttarakhand border to count incoming Kanwar Yatra pilgrims.

AI cameras at Mota Mahadev Temple monitor crowd density and alert security if the number of devotees exceeds limits.

More than 300 IP-based CCTV cameras were installed along the Kanwar corridor for surveillance.

Entry of heavy vehicles on the Kanwar route and national highways has been prohibited since July 28; four-wheeler diversions started July 30.

UPSRTC buses are barred from entering Bijnor city limits; passengers must use designated bypass points.
