Zachery Ty Bryan, who played eldest son Brad Taylor, was absent from the reunion due to a jail sentence following a 2024 felony DUI conviction.

Thomas stepped back from Hollywood in the early 2000s; in a 2013 interview with People, he said he wanted to go to school, travel, and take a break, adding he had 'no regrets'.
