Jatin Pandit slams 'Aankhon se tune' remix: 'This is not a dancing song'

Music composer Jatin Pandit criticized the remix of 'Aankhon Se Tune' from the 1998 film Ghulam, saying it changes the song's heartfelt essence and simplicity.

The recreated version, titled 'Aankhon Se Tune 2.0', features Raghav Juyal and Niharika NM in the film 'Bhai Tera Star Hai', and was produced by Lijo George.

Pandit noted the remix's faster tempo and dance beat altered the original's moderate rhythm, making it a dancing song when it originally was not.

He praised the performances of the dancers but felt choreography overshadowed the music, and objected to the newly added opening verse by Dev Negi and Palak Muchhal.

Despite his criticism, the remix has over 23 million views on YouTube, indicating its popularity with younger audiences.
