Four held for fake journalist bid to rob Pune businessman

Narhe police arrested four men for attempting to rob a businessman of ₹1 crore in Pune.

The accused include Ashish Tiwari, who posed as a journalist, Ganesh Kadam, Vikram Chakankar, and Amey Karle.

The driver, Chakankar, diverted the businessman's car to Navale Bridge, where two men impersonating police officers intercepted it.

The accused took the businessman and cash to the Khed Shivapur police outpost to lend credibility to the operation.

The attempted robbery failed after the businessman resisted; police are searching for another suspect.
