Mayank Yadav scripts a rare record with first-ball wicket in IND vs ZIM T20I

Mayank Yadav dismissed Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett with the first ball of the opening T20I in Harare.

He became the third India bowler to take a wicket with the first ball of a T20I match, joining Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya.

This was Yadav's second time achieving a first-ball wicket in a T20I innings, after dismissing Bangladesh's Parvez Hossain Emon in October 2024.

The wicket was confirmed via review after the on-field umpire initially turned down the appeal.
