ITI exam racket: STF busts solver gang, principal, staff among 10 held in Prayagraj

  1. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrested 10 people, including the principal and four instructors of Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Naini, for running a solver gang in Prayagraj.

  2. The gang arranged impersonators to take Computer Based Test (CBT) examinations for money during the All India Trade Test-2026, charging around ₹4,000 per candidate.

  3. The arrested individuals include solvers Shivam Kumar, Ranvijay Singh, Jai Singh, Jitendra Patel, Dileep Kumar Patel, principal Ashok Kumar, examination in-charge Ravi Prakash, and instructors Phool Prakash, Dheeraj Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, and Rajkumar Maurya.

  4. The STF recovered ₹5.10 lakh, 67 exam documents, electronic devices, and other items from the accused.

  5. One accused, Dhirendra Kumar, who allegedly coordinated the racket, is absconding.
