Gautam Adani says no promise or deal behind move to dismiss US case

Gautam Adani denied any promise or deal behind the U.S. Justice Department's move to dismiss charges against him.

The charges, filed in 2024 under the Biden administration, accused Adani and seven others of paying about $250 million in bribes to Indian officials for power supply contracts.

The alleged scheme also involved misleading U.S. investors during fundraising in American markets.

The Justice Department sought to dismiss the case, but Adani stated no agreement was reached for the dismissal.
