NESCO Drug Overdose Case: Mumbai NDPS Court Rejects Bail Of 2 Accused, Cites Prima Facie Active Role

Mumbai NDPS court rejected bail for Shubh Agrawal and Pradeep Gupta in the NESCO drug overdose case.

Two MBA students died and others were hospitalized after a drug overdose at a techno music concert at the NESCO Exhibition Centre on April 11.

Gupta was arrested for allegedly allowing drug suppliers to enter through the emergency gate for money.

Agrawal was arrested for allegedly picking up a box of Ecstasy MDMA pills from co-accused Vineet Gerelani and handing them to Pratik Pande.

The court cited prima facie active roles and a direct nexus with co-accused in drug peddling.
