West Bengal Waqf Board initiates 1.33 lakh properties for documentation

West Bengal Board of Auqaf initiated 1,33,417 waqf properties for documentation on the UMEED portal, up from 80,548.

Of these properties, 1,15,551 were approved (validated) and 12,720 were rejected.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that 103 encroachment proceedings have been initiated.
