Three arrested for killing teacher, trying to usurp her property

Kalyan police arrested Digambar Awhad, Tushar Ratnaparkhi, and Ramesh Pandey for allegedly killing school teacher Sangeeta Chandanshive to usurp her property.

Two accused, Awhad and Ratnaparkhi, were neighbors of Chandanshive and forced her to sign documents naming them as her legal heirs before strangling her.

The accused lured Chandanshive to a rented apartment in Asangaon under the pretext of buying an insurance policy, then killed her and dumped her body along Mumbai-Nashik highway.

Chandanshive was a 53-year-old unmarried school teacher and insurance agent who owned substantial property.
