Delhi’s Q1 tax collections cross ₹16,800 crore, outpace last year

  1. Delhi's tax revenue collections exceeded ₹16,800 crore in Q1 of 2026-27, up from ₹15,875 crore in Q1 of 2025-26.

  4. Stamp and registration fees increased to ₹2,286.14 crore, while motor vehicle tax slightly declined to ₹796.88 crore.

  5. Total revenue receipts including grants stood at ₹17,436.38 crore, achieving 21.27% of the budget estimate of ₹81,992.07 crore.
