Ather to enter Rs 1-1.2 lakh scooter segment

Ather CEO Tarun Mehta announced at the Rising Bharat Summit 2026 that Ather will enter the Rs 1 lakh-1.2 lakh scooter segment with a new platform.

The new platform targets mainstream demand as Ather aims to be present across all price points.

Ather is leveraging its recent public listing and successful QIP to fund growth into the mass-market EV segment.
