Mumbai Airport Customs Arrests Youth For Allegedly Smuggling 2.5 Kg Hydroponic Weed From Bangkok In Hidden

Mumbai Airport Customs arrested 20-year-old Aryan Kapoor for smuggling 2,499 grams of hydroponic weed from Bangkok.

The drugs were concealed in false cavities inside the walls of his trolley bag, detected due to unusual heaviness.

Kapoor, a resident of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, was intercepted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after crossing the green channel.

The recovered cannabis flowering tops are classified as ganja (marijuana) under the NDPS Act.

Kapoor admitted to concealing the drugs for monetary consideration and was remanded to judicial custody.
