J'khand: AI-based drones, cameras, 11,500 police personnel to be deployed for 'Shravani' fairs

AI-based drones, face recognition cameras, and 11,500 police personnel will be deployed for the 'Shravani' fairs in Jharkhand's Deoghar and Dumka districts.
The month-long fairs begin on July 30 and attract 35-40 lakh devotees annually, who visit Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple in Deoghar and Baba Basukinath Dham in Dumka.
Deoghar SP Praveen Pushkar confirmed 100 police outposts, thousands of CCTV cameras, AI-based drone surveillance, and AI-based face recognition cameras installed around the temple.
An AI-based integrated mela control room, a chatbot for information and feedback, an AI-based Traffic Management System, and high-quality ANPR cameras have been set up.
Three companies of CRPF, Rapid Action Force, Jharkhand Jaguar teams, NDRF at Shivganga pond, and bomb disposal squad are deployed for security.
