J'khand: AI-based drones, cameras, 11,500 police personnel to be deployed for 'Shravani' fairs

  1. AI-based drones, face recognition cameras, and 11,500 police personnel will be deployed for the 'Shravani' fairs in Jharkhand's Deoghar and Dumka districts.

  2. The month-long fairs begin on July 30 and attract 35-40 lakh devotees annually, who visit Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple in Deoghar and Baba Basukinath Dham in Dumka.

  3. Deoghar SP Praveen Pushkar confirmed 100 police outposts, thousands of CCTV cameras, AI-based drone surveillance, and AI-based face recognition cameras installed around the temple.

  4. An AI-based integrated mela control room, a chatbot for information and feedback, an AI-based Traffic Management System, and high-quality ANPR cameras have been set up.

  5. Three companies of CRPF, Rapid Action Force, Jharkhand Jaguar teams, NDRF at Shivganga pond, and bomb disposal squad are deployed for security.
