Ladakh LG calls for collective efforts to build compassionate ecosystem for special children

Ladakh LG Vinai Kumar Saxena inaugurated the Union territory's first Special School for Children with Special Needs in Kargil.

The school features barrier-free infrastructure, assistive technologies, resource rooms, and therapy support for holistic development.

Saxena called for collective efforts from parents, communities, and civil society to create a compassionate ecosystem for special children.

The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 vision of inclusive education.
