NIA court sentenced HuJI operative Qurban Ali to 5 years' rigorous imprisonment in a 2013 terror conspiracy case.
He was convicted of criminal conspiracy, conspiracy to wage war against India, collecting arms for waging war, forgery, and Arms Act offences.
The court imposed a fine of ₹7,000 and additional 3 years' RI with ₹500 fine for cheating and forgery.
Default imprisonment was prescribed for non-payment of fines.
Special NIA judge Umeshankar Jindal delivered the verdict.
