Major changes in security, darshan arrangements at Ram temple likely ahead of Kanwar Yatra

Entry to Ram temple complex may require a pass from August 8-11 and August 23-28 due to expected crowds during Sawan Jhula Mela and Kanwar Yatra.

Darshan at all six sub-temples in the parkota may be temporarily stopped if crowd becomes too large, while Ram Lalla darshan duration may be extended.

Administration estimates 10-15 lakh devotees may reach Ayodhya during Sawan festival, with daily footfall of 2-3 lakh in August.

Security measures include increased CCTV cameras, public address system, additional lighting, pilgrim facilitation centres, and deployment of police, PAC, and water police.
