Sports ministry seeks HI probe into former captain’s complaint against Bhola, Golla

Sports ministry directed Hockey India to probe former captain Asunta Lakra's complaint of sexual harassment against Bholanath Singh and Sudhir Golla.

Lakra alleged Hockey India secretary general Bholanath Singh threatened her after she reported sexual harassment allegations against former Eklavya Hockey Centre coach Sudhir Golla to the Jharkhand government.

The ministry asked Hockey India to place the complaint before its Internal Complaints Committee for an independent inquiry under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013.
