'Decades-long systemic exploitation': India urges world to hold Pakistan 'fully accountable' over PoK protests

India's MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated Pakistan's 'decades-long systemic exploitation' caused protests in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

India accused Pakistan of using excessive force against public dissent instead of addressing grievances.

India reiterated that Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and called for international accountability for Pakistan's human rights violations.

The MEA also expressed concern over attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, affecting an Indian seafarer, and called for safe navigation.
