VIT graduate Soumith Chintala joins Meta after 27 rejections

Soumith Chintala graduated from VIT University in 2009 without attending IIT or NIT and without a home computer.

He was rejected by 27 universities when applying for higher education in the United States.

He eventually secured admission to New York University (NYU).

Chintala later landed a job at Meta.
